Award-winning bay area artist

Who is Flo de Bretagne?

Flo was born and raised in Paris. After completing a double-major in business and law Flo decided to do what she was truly passionate about: art. She took a variety of creative courses at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, including photography, engraving and painting. For five years she experimented as many techniques as she could possibly fit in her curriculum. Once she had satiated her educational needs, she proudly became a full-time artist.

"I grew up being a good student wanting to have a "serious job." However, once I was all done with my intense studies, a health crisis made me realize that I could no longer put aside what I was truly passionate about: bringing hope to other people through art.  I have found that schools are often gloomy places, just as hospitals can be scary for patients undergoing treatment, and homes with bare walls can be dull and dreary. However, Instead, I endorse finding relief, peace, and even joy within art, and doubly so with a colorful, uplifting painting. In my work, I strive to share cheer through the compassion, the kindness, the kindness, the love and harmony that radiate from my murals and paintings."
